Our Mission

With the dual goals of achieving energy security and addressing global environmental issues, CRIEPI implements projects in five main research areas.

These projects meet the needs of both the larger society and the electric power industry and receive the full focus of CRIEPI's research capacity.

CRIEPI's efforts are strongly linked to basic research, enabling it to produce timely and relevant research results.

CRIEPI's research is made optimally effective by the strategic utilization of the intellectual property developed through its research activities for the benefit of the electric power industry and the community.

Environmental Guidelines

To provide a safe, clean and livable environment for future generations, CRIEPI has established "environmentally sound research operations" as one of its priority management issues.

In addition to strictly following relevant laws and regulations, CRIEPI will continually carry out efforts that benefit the environment under the following guidelines:

Proactively advance research activities related to environmental preservation
