EnergyWin (Thermal Efficiency Analysis Program for Power Generation Systems)

Calculation conditions
1) Condensate flow rate : 100 t/h
2) Feed water inlet pressure : 0.8 MPa
3) Feed water inlet temperature : 340 K
4) Extraction steam pressure : 0.09 MPa
5) Quality of extraction steam : 0.95
6) Turbine drain flow rate : 2 t/h
7) Terminal temperature difference (TD) : 3.6 K
8) Initial temperature difference (DC) : 5.6 K
9) pressure drop of condensate flow : 0%
10) pressure drop of extraction flow : 0%

The values such as extraction steam flow rate and heat exchanging performance have been computed. Thermal properties of every working fluid are displayed on a canvas.
You can see Heat flux, coefficient of heat transmission, log-mean temperature difference, temperature efficiency, TD and DC on a property window.

Moreover, if the value of extraction steam flow rate is set, you can obtain TD, which also gives you the feed water outlet temperature. You can also calculate the fluid temperatures around this heater by heat transmission coefficient.
