VOC Decomposition technology with CeO2 catalyst

VOC Decomposition technology with CeO2 catalyst

To attempt the improvement of the air pollution situation of SPM and Photochemical oxidant, the air pollution control law was revised. The revised Law is based on the concept of "Best Mix," a combination of legal control and voluntary compliance

The development of a low cost technology to decompose volatile organic compounds (VOC) was advanced for the purpose of environmental conservation.
A prototype volatile organic compound (VOC) cracking module with a ceria oxide catalyst on ceramic honeycomb was produced and it was confirmed that a decomposition rate of more than 95% at 250 degree C could be achieved to render the toluene discharged by printing, painting and other processes harmless.
