Flow accelerated corrosion (FAC) is one of the pipe wall thinning phenomena. From researches about FAC under water single phase flow, the prediction equations of thinning rate are constructed under water single-phase flow. These equations are validated in case of feedwater and condensate system in power plants, where FAC tend to occur under water single-phase flow. On the other hand, from researches about FAC under water-steam two-phase flow, the mass transfer coefficient is calculated by the equation of water single phase flow when the characteristic velocity and length are liquid film velocity and liquid film thickness. In this report, the flow patterns, where FAC occur in two-phase flow, are checked, and they are annular flow in vertical line and annular or stratified flow in horizontal line. The calculation method of liquid film velocity and thickness is developed in vertical pipe. The results is almost the same as experimental results.
