Dr. Apostolakis and Dr. Meserve visited Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Plant on November 4, 2015, saw the safety enhancement measures of the plant, and discussed the application of risk information to the specific site operations and the safety culture building activities.
On, November 5, Mr. Hirose and Dr. Apostolakis discussed the Tokyo EPCO’s efforts to apply risk-informed decision making and risk communication.
