概要 （英文）

Currently, Fossil fuels provide almost 80% of world energy supply. A 55% global increase above the 2005 primary energy demand is anticipated by 2030 under business as usual. Primary energy demand in China due to continued overall economic growth is estimated to increase by 3.2% annually over the period from 2005 to 2030. Also India has a great impact on the future energy demand in the world.
Coal will be still main energy resource in China and India in 2030. Coal demand will be 2.2 times in China and 3 times in India from 2005 to 2030. Japan depended on China for 15% of hard coal consumed in electric power generation in 2006, So, the increase of coal demand in China should be affect energy security in Japan.
