Collaboration of agriculture and energy Takashi Ishii's university research theme was solving the problems which arise when growing seedlings in artificial environments. Since joining CRIEPI, he has been engaged in research to optimize plant growth by regulating environmental conditions (light, temperature, CO2), and to thereby obtain the desired produce with minimal resources. He wants to change the structure of agriculture through the power of energy, and support the foundation of future agriculture from the technical side.
