DTMはリアルタイム・マルチメディア通信とコンピュータ通信を単一プラットフォームで提供できるので、次世代統合通信網構築において極めて注目すべき技術である。本報告書はDTM技術における多重化、帯域制御、高速回線設定などに関する手法について調査した結果を体系的にとりまとめたものである。さらに、DTM通信網における電力情報の収容形態を検討及び電力用DTM統合網の構成法に検討した。DTM技術は主としてヨーロッパで検討されているが、近い将来ITU-Tにおいて国際標準化される見込みである。

概要 （英文）

DTM(Dynamic synchronous Transfer Mode) will give remarkable network solutions to the integrated services communication network with a single platform, which is optimized for both real-time multimedia applications and computer communications. This paper surveys technical features of DTM technologies such as multiplexing, bandwidth control, fast circuit switching. And it shows that DTM Communication network is most suitable for the next generation communication networks by comparing with conventional network technologies. The standardisations of DTM technologies are undertaken at ETSI and they will be very likely authorized near future as international standards by ITU-T. Furthermore、we have investigated how to treat electric power informations in a DTM communication network, and proposed the DTM-based integrated services communication network for electric power utilities.
