従来の情報システムで、仕事の内容や必要とする情報が動的に変化していく自律型業務を支援するのは難しい。本報告では、自律型業務を支援するための新しい情報システムアーキテクチャ「自己組織型情報システム」の概念を明示する。自己組織型情報システムは、変化に対するシステムと人間(組織)双方の適応を推進・支援し、メンバや作業内容が頻繁に変更される場合でも、性能を保ちつつ業務支援のコストを抑えることを可能にする。さらに、本報告では、自己組織型情報システムの 4つの構成要素 (1) 情報の自己組織化 (2) 処理の自己組織化、(3)ネットワークの自己組織化、(4) インフラの自己管理／自己修復のうち、当所で行なわれた (1)、(3) に関する研究結果と、(2) に利用可能な既存の要素技術について述べる。

概要 （英文）

This report proposes a new architecture for information systems called self-organizing informatio system, and describes basic functions of the architecture. The self-organizing information system is an adaptive system to environmental changes of organizations. The self-organizing information system, not only adapt itself to the changes, supports and promotes adaptation of human systems to realize organizational adaptation. The self-organizing information system consists of the following four basic functions; (1) self-organization of information, (2) self-organization of process, (3) self-organization of network, (4) self-management/repair. (4) have solutions in current hardware technologies, and we have carried out researches on (1) and (3). As the results of our researches and a short survey on (2), we can clarify the problems to be solved in the next phase.
