Decrease Characteristics of Rod Electrode Grounding Resistance at Large Currents(Development of a dynamic model of grounding resistance)

また,その分析結果をもとに,EMTP(Electro-Magnetic Transients Program)に容易に組み込める接地抵抗の動特性解析モデルを開発した。

Grounding resistance is one of the most important parameters of the lightning-protection designs of electric power systems. Generally, it is said that grounding resistance has decrease characteristics at large currents, and rationalization of the electric power system can be expected if these characteristics can be adapted in lightning-protection design. But these characteristics are thought of as a margin for safety and are seldom taken into consideration for lightning-protection design. The development of a grounding resistance dynamic model is hoped for in order to rationalize lightning-protection design. In this report, experiments were made using rod electrodes, and the physical phenomena were considered. Based on the results, a grounding resistance dynamic model, which could be built into EMTP (Electro-Magnetic Transients Program) easily, was developed.
