[Field of reseach] Image Analysis, Rust Detection
Project
Making possible the determination of equipment deterioration using image analysis Originally specializing in telecommunications, he explored a different field and switched to multimedia with the advent of the IoT era. By interposing structural analysis with photographs taken by helicopters and drones, he has developed technology to easily determine the extent of rust progress on towers, which has greatly improved the efficiency of on-site inspection work. In the future, he hopes to incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) to further improve the accuracy and efficiency of inspection work.
