Symposium 2018

The second symposium of the Nuclear Risk Research Center (NRRC) addressed the theme of “The Significance of Utilizing Risk Information for Enhancing Nuclear Power Safety and Approaches for Its Practical Implementation.”

In Parts 1 and 2, discussions were held with experts, including participants from overseas. In Part 3, distinguished panelists discussed the topic from a societal perspective, with participation from attendees at the venue.

Symposium 2015

This symposium, the first since the establishment of the Nuclear Risk Research Center (NRRC), invited panelists from a wide range of fields not limited to nuclear energy. Under the themes of “Expectations for the Activities of NRRC” and “Promoting the Use of Risk Information,” panelists engaged in lively discussions on how society as a whole should recognize and reduce the risks associated with nuclear power generation.
